amazing place to stay! so clean & comfortable with great views. close to shops & beach. even has a separate room for kids and a modern bathroom. loved the kitchen and large fridge. the balcony with waterviews was perfect. would be great for a family of four.

The Montague Room at Amooran Oceanside Apartments And Motel was absolutely amazing! The glassed-in deck was perfect for enjoying a refreshing beverage or using as a breakout room. And the best part? We could even spot humpback or southern right whales migrating in spring right from our room or balcony! It was an unbelievable experience!

Personally, I found everything at the Montague Room to be perfect.

We had a fantastic stay at the Oceanside Apartments. The location was excellent, with stunning views of the ocean and golf course. The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped with a kitchenette that had a microwave, electric kettle, and electric cooking top. The balcony was a great spot to relax and take in the views. Despite a few drawbacks mentioned in other reviews, we didn't experience any issues with the bed or musty smell. we highly recommend this hotel for its great value and fabulous views.

While my wife & I only stayed the one night we found Amooran Oceanside Apartments & Motel to be an excellent establishment which I will be recommending to all my family , friends and business assocaitions.

We stayed at this lovely hotel for one night and it exceeded our expectations. The studio room with a kitchenette was perfect for our needs, allowing us the option to cook our own meals. We were fortunate to have a ground floor room with a beautiful view of Montague Island and the golf course. The location was quiet and picturesque, with the added bonus of being able to see whales from the nearby footpath. The hotel also had a delightful pool and BBQ area, adding to our enjoyable stay. Lastly, the well-appointed apartment and comfortable bedding made for a perfect night's sleep.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The excellent breakfasts - simple, but beautifully prepared and presented while the food was still hot. Loved the poached eggs! Delightful seascape. Serene ambience.

Maintenance was not 100 per cent - cupboard hinges for instance. And the bearing in the extractor fan in the bathroom needed attention - the fan has become quite noisy. The fire blanket was in a cupboard immediately above the stove, where a fire was most likely. If a fire did occur, access to the blanket likely would be blocked by flames. .

We loved the incredible views of Montague Island and the coast from our comfortable and well-equipped room. The kitchen was a great bonus, and the nearby golf club had a good bistro.

We felt extremely safe during our stay, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble.

No pets are allowed at the hotel. However, we highly recommend this place to all our friends due to its beautiful location, excellent service, and top-notch amenities.

Fridge in room noisy at night No bath mat/towel for under feet when getting out of shower had to use hand towel They double charged me but picked up the error quickly and got back to me with courtesy. Should not take money off credit card when booking - most hotels do not. Only when leaving.
